Copper Strip Corrosion test apparatus

Description :- The Instrument is used to determine corrosiveness to copper of aviation gasoline, aviation turbine fuel, automotive gasoline, diesel fuel, distillate fuel, lubricating oil and other petroleum liquids. The Temp range of instrument is from ambient upto 120°C temp. It has Capacity to test 4 samples at a time. Temp is controlled by PID temp. Controller.A polished copper strip is placed in 25x150mm test tube and kept in pressure vessel which is immersed inside the bath. The test is conducted at 50°C/100°C for 2/3 hours depending upon the sample and then the Copper is examined and compared with Astm D130 color chart.
